Development Engineer (m/f/d) Thermodynamics

As a Development Engineer (m/f/d) Thermodynamics in our research and development center in Dresden, you will develop heat pumps together with us. You will be responsible for the design of cooling circuits for our air water and brine water heat pumps.

Your Impact

• You are responsible for the system-technical design and simulation of components of the refrigeration circuit
• With your know-how you are responsible for the specification of measurement series in the laboratory as well as the determination of measurement series for validation and verification
• The modularization and standardization of a range of variants is your focus
• Your profound knowledge enables you to carry out the qualification of component suppliers
• You will proactively support the optimization of our product as well as the certification and market launch process

Who you are

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, physics or comparable qualification
• Excellent knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics 
• Very good knowledge in the design and simulation of refrigeration circuits
• Experience in product development, ideally in the field of heat pumps
• Fluent communication skills in English, German language skills would be an advantage
