Velocity Mobility GmbH

Velocity Mobility GmbH is a spin-off company of RWTH Aachen University founded in 2014 and develops innovative technology solutions and services for shared micromobility.

The reference project Velocity Aachen is e-bike rental system with 90+ rental stations and a fleet of over 300 rental e-bikes and is operated by the subsidiary Velocity Region Aachen GmbH, in which Velocity Mobility is a majority shareholder.

The successful roll-out of shared micromobility systems in other cities, including Düsseldorf and Ravensburg, represents the first milestones for scaling the business model in the national and also international market for mobility concepts. A sustainable business model involving influential local partners and taking into account individual mobility requirements ensures the long-term success of Velocity Mobility GmbH in a young and rapidly growing market.
