– Backend (m/w/d)

Our agile SCRUM teams are working integrated as cross-functional
teams. Aspects like software architecture, design, development and
quality assurance are worked on collaboratively. Software craftsman-
ship and clean code are our core skills that we learn and live together.
To strengthen our engineering team in Karlsruhe - one of LogMeIn’s
largest software development locations - we are looking for you to
join us as a (Senior) Software Development Engineer for our flagship
product GoToMeeting.

In the cross-functional development team you will realize a level of
quality that ensures high availability, performance and globally
distributed operation of our software solutions. You will drive topics
such as development standards, system design and testing, definition
of software architectures, and quality assurance methods within the
team and across teams. Your consideration ranges from determining
requirements all the way to operating the software.

• You enjoy developing software according to clean code principles
and are proficient in languages such as Java and JavaScript

• You have very good knowledge of backend systems and their cloud
operation (preferably AWS)

• You are experienced with build tools and containerization solutions
like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes

• For you, software quality does not only mean unit testing

• You like to work actively on the improvement of product quality

• You are experienced with an agile approach

• You can quickly familiarize yourself with new complex topics

• You speak Business English

• Commitment, personal responsibility, communication skills, and

team spirit are no foreign concepts to you
