Front-End Web Engineer

Front-End Web Engineer (m/w/d)
We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to
combine the art of design with the art of programming.
Responsibilities will include working closely with the UX team to
implement visual elements and their behaviors with user interactions.
You will work with both front-end and back-end web developers to
build all client-side logic.
• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Constantly improve code quality
• Write unit and integration tests
• Constantly improve developer experience
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
• Strong understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
• Good understanding of ReactJS, state management in React and
TypeScript
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial
page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
and ways to work around such issues
• Familiarity with Webpack
• Familiarity with npm scripts as a front-end build tool
• Proficient understanding of Git
• Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and
performance
