Process & Quality Manager
Hytrel® (M/F/D)
The Luxembourg Mobility & Materials Hytrel® unit is currently looking for a Process & Quality
Manager.
The Hytrel® Process & Quality Manager will be part of the Hytrel® unit steering team and lead the
process & quality group consisting of 6 process, quality and reliability engineers and technicians.
Detailed responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Member of area steering team meetings and responsible for development of COTs, vision
and follow-up on KPIs (safety, environment, quality, production, yield)
• Back-up of Hytrel® Unit Manager
• Give functional guidance to Process & Quality team on all run & maintain work
• Coaching and development of people, providing feedback on performance against unit
goals, succession planning, hiring of new people
• Identify opportunities to streamline work processes
• Lead/Participate in EHS/PSM, quality and housekeeping audits
• Lead/Participate in incident investigations and root cause failure analysis (RCFA)
• Develop unit specific administrative procedures (PSM, QMS, …)
• Assignment will require occasional on-call support
Responsibilities specific to MT, Quality and PSM:
• Manufacturing Technology (MT)
• Drive product & process development with MT-Engineers (Implementation of CAPEX-
projects , new product / raw material qualifications, …)
• Owner of regional Hytrel® Tactical Improvement Call with R&D and PLM
• Improve plant reliability through maintenance and reliability engineer
• Quality Management System (QMS)
• Product Conformity & Safety Representative (PSCR) according to VDA/QMC
• ISO 9001 auditor
• Lab supervision
• Maintenance of quality system (improvements, reviews, audits…)
• Contact in case of customer quality issues
• Process Safety Management (PSM)
• Maintenance of MOC-T-system
• Guardian of technical documentation (databases, technical drawings, equipment
documentation, …)
• Interlock and LOPA guardian
• Establish PSM audit plan
• Member of site PSM and ATEX team
• Lead/Participate in PSSRs, PHAs and drive change management (MOC)
• Lead one or more PSM elements

Requirements:
• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Several years working experience in a manufacturing technical role
• Leadership skills
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) and ISO 9001 Quality Management
• Good written and oral communication (English and German) are a must, comprehension in
Luxembourgish and French is considered as a plus
• Good interpersonal skills to allow productive collaborative relationships with inside
customers, operations, mechanical and technical personnel; track record of fostering a
respectful work environment
• Must be self-motivated and have good coaching skills
• Ability to learn in a dynamic environment and to take initiatives
• Six Sigma certification and training in leadership skills (LEAD training) are considered as a
plus
