NOTE Gixel GmbH and Viaholo GmbH work together as a research cooperation on the future of communication. Viaholo is a 100% subsidiary of Sprin-D, and thus of the Federal Republic of Germany.
At Gixel our goal is to explore, innovate and design a novel next generation augmented reality experience. We are looking for skilled and motivated General Engineer to join our team in Karlsruhe.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and run experiments, to validate and refine our hardware concepts.
- Gather and analyze experiment data
- Bring with us our dream of AR communication to a productionable product
Minimum Qualifications
- Able to run experiments, including CAD drawing, manufacturing, running and refining experiments.
- Gather and analyze data from experiments.
- No fear to use Solidworks or Fusion360
- No fear to manufacture needed parts (CNC mill, workshop, 3d printer etc.)
- Hands on, get things done
Preferred Qualifications
- Self driven
- Hands on experience with mechanics and measurement
- Worked with cameras, linear axis, spectrometer or different sensors and access them via software
- High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving skills
